The goal of this blog is to inform, enlighten, and encourage discussion about online voting in the United States. Considering how important voter participation is, there is not nearly enough information easily available to the public.
Online voting adoption has seen many barriers in the United States over the last decade. None of those barriers have been technical. Due to cultural resistance from election administrators, along with the efforts of a small group of academic “naysayers”, modernization of our voting infrastructure has been stalled.
The media in the U.S. does not pay enough attention to the topic of election modernization. If it did, this blog would be unnecessary.
Cyber The Vote is a completely non-profit, individual effort started by myself in 2011. It is not funded by any other source.
